^^ yeah thats what I don't like about the extreeme line of conditioners, it didn't leave my hair feeling beautiful and silky. It made it feel worse even if it was doing good things for it. That was just my experience though. I like the blonde glam stuff a lot. It seems to me like the all soft accept for blondes and I want that blonde to stay

Yes! They actually do a really great job and the instructor comes along behind them to trim up any stray hairs.

They actually do a great job dying and highlighting too.

And they give amazing manicures, facials and are awesome with eyebrow waxing.

If you can deal with the drama (a lot of women in one place) and waiting for a while (a lot of people come because of the prices), then you're set.

30% off coupon to gap/banana/old navy for the 26th - 29th

(5% of whatever you spend goes to the leukemia and lymphoma society - NOT to my fundraiser, but still a great organization)

coupon (i think its only instore though, which kinda sucks - but you can use it at outlets, though):

^ i know, i was wondering the same thing. i know when you order online there is usually only a spot for one coupon code. but maybe it would work in store?

i don't know specifically about the groupon thing, but usually when i order online from banana it lets me use multiple reward codes (i get those $10 off things for using their credit card) -- after you type in one code and apply it, it gives you the box again

*Note, they did forget to charge me for my conditioner so I guess it would have been a bit more

Went to Mitchell's academy, will go back again. It took 2 hours, but for the price I don't care. Definitely take a picture of what you want with you, makes things much easier.

Megan cut my hair.

Also, do they allow tipping at the academy? There were no signs saying either way. I assumed they didn't since Aveda doesn't allow it, but if they do I'll have to go back.

haha well they really don't advertise it and it doesn't help that you can't add tip to your credit card receipt - you have to pay cash...

God, I hate PMS.

When I was younger, it would manifest in like crazy behavior and violent rages and stuff.

Now all the exacerbating adolescent nonsense is gone, but it's just like this quiet misery. There's still a little lashing out, but my heart isn't even in it and it never makes me feel any relief. Really I can't sleep. Hungry as shit but also feeling more hideously fat/ugly than usual. Utter loss of interest in things I love to do. Extremely anxious and uncomfortable in class. Listless/restless at the same time. Every social situation is just like me straining a smile and pretending to listen while I wait it out so I can be alone again.

And my birth control messes with my cycle so I never know when it's coming. It'll be like a week of misery, and I'll start to get afraid that something is wrong with me, laying in bed and crying cause I'm scared I'm gonna be like that forever. And then I bleed, and it's like, "FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUU..."

I like it! The colors would look great on you.

Anyone know where to find a dress that has elbow length sleeves that isn't horribly ugly? I have a few different weddings coming up this fall/winter and I want a dress with sleeves so I don't freeze.

I've looked at a few places but it all still seems to be summer wear.

FALL FASHION MAGAZINES!!! <3<3<3

I love it ... my favorite season by far. I love the colors (jewel tones, chocolate brown!!!) I love the shapes (flowy stuff gives way to fitted blazers) and I loooooove the fabrics!! (tweed, corduroy, SUEDE! anyone!!??) Too bad it's still 95 outside or I might get to wear some of it

Does anyone else wear toning sneakers? I just bought my first pair (a Dr. Scholl's version) and can't wait to see if they actually work. They def made my muscles work a little differently just in the store!

Cool beans! She's lookin' pretty fab, so they must be worth it. I'll have to trade notes.

Got a pair because I cancelled my gym membership and wanted to enhance my workout with something new that I can use during workout at my local park. Figured I can put the gym $$$ toward cute clothes.

so you can work out in them? i feel like i read somewhere some kinds weren't for like hardcore work outs but i feel like they basically meant for running. like they aren't running shoes. i want to get some but...they're safe to work out in? i don't know too much about them and i know there are a few different brands...insight, please!!

^^A lot of them are not safe for working out in, or running. They are simply meant for walking shoes. There are kinds that are meant for running (RunTone), or working out (i.e. TrainTone) etc. But most of them are not. There just isn't a lot of stability (that's why they work), so it would be very easy to injure yourself running.

That said. I have the Reebok ReeTones. They aren't amazing. You can feel the difference in walking, but not by a lot. My legs still look the same to me. They are however incredibly comfortable, almost like walking on air. If I were on my feet eight or nine hours a day, I think I would choose to wear these over any other tennis shoes.

I went on a 5-mile powerwalk with the girls yesterday and definitely feel a difference in my thighs. Definitely worked my muscles more than my normal shoes.

I tried on several different brands in the store but eventually went with the Dr. Scholl's brand ... which is similar to the Skechers Shape-Ups. The Reebok version didn't seem to work my muscles as well, even though I only wore them for ten minutes. The Reebok shoes are WAYYYYY cuter though. They look like normal shoes! And muscle testing shows that the Reebok shoes do engage your muscles better than regular shoes.

So I took the plunge and ordered these because of two reasons: the Nine West boots I have are amazingggg and look just as great as when I got them almost a year ago... and they're really comfy. Not to mention, you can never have enough boots

Not only did I get $60 off, apparently these fell under a "back to school" promotion from Amazon and I got another $20 off!! And free 2 day shipping!
