not a bad episode, but they tried too hard

half this episode was them in the woods going "which way did they go george? which way did they go?"

the charlie thing was a bit too much

the thing with his dad was good

i wanna know who "they" are

I thought the Charlie thing was great. It really paralleled the earlier scene in the OR. In that earlier scene, Jack didn't want to give up but his dad kept telling him to and he eventually did.

Then almost the same thing was happening and Kate wanted him to give it up but he kept at it and Charlie came to.

I thought about "The Abyss" as well, but then again Im sure the whole "Give up hes gone / NOOOOO! / Its over / Ok, youre right, (cry)....NOOOOOOO! / Oh my God hes alive!!" thing has been done a number of times.

I thought that metal door or whatever it was would fall out and some freak of nature would pull Locke and the other guy in.

Is Jack still a licensed doctor? Seems like admitting to lying on the documents would be something to get it revoked. Not that it really matters on an freaking island.

Im not sure if Ethan is the bad guy. The fight between him and Jack could easily have been Jack in dreamland. Ethan did look kinda freaky though when he found Charlie and Claire...but it could be that "the others" took all 3 of them.

well we know he wasnt on the register, so he's a native. its possible he's a "good guy" in that he's trying to protect claire and her baby from the "bad guys", but he cant be that good if he tried to kill charlie.

There were also several references to the word lost tonight. Like when Jack was trying to bring back Charlie the chick said he's lost. Not dead or gone or something like that. Also when Locke and that other guy were hiking and the brother guy wanted to turn back, Locke said we're not lost. There was another place or two tonight also. Everytime it seemed unatural and very scripted.

The show is cool, but I am tired of being teased. They have like 12 unfinished stories hanging out there. When things gets interesting, off goes another tangent. Feels like Alias. I am enjoying it, but we need some payoff soon.
