This past weekend I tried Ommegang's Three Philosophers (Quadruple) and Maredsous 10 (Tripel).

Both were great, with the edge going to the 3P with an amazingly good flavor. The 3P is at 9.8% and the M10 at 10%, but the alcohol was felt much more with the second. I would have to put the 3P in my top 3 beers along with Maredsous 8 and Chimay Grande Reserve (Blue).

I tried Pannepot and Delirium Tremens Saturday.

Pannepot was VERY strong/rich and the 10% alc. was definitely apparent.

The Tremens was a disappointment for me. It was decent with a fairly lighter flavor, but it just didn't live up to all the hype of being voted #1 beer in the world for 3 years.

Winter Welcome is an amazing beer but difficult to find.

The best beer i've had now is this one off stout big boss made for Raleigh times...

which sucks... cause i may never have it again.

btw, the winter welcome this year was very nice

last year was very sub-par

harris teeter will order you cases if you like

my dad usually gets several cases and distributes them to his business partners, and me one as well... unfortunately this year i flew in, but still drank about a case over the weekend
