They might, and that worries me.

Oh who am I kidding, they won't do it- they at least showed Lee & Starbuck alive in the next episode.

But apparently somebody important is going to die by the end of Season 3.

I can see Baltar dying. His character has been marginalized pretty good.

I also predict next week that they'll find the Eye of Jupiter, and get off the planets, then nuke it, making the Cylons think they didn't find the eye thing.

1) They mention the Final Five, and Baltar thinking more than ever that he is a cylon can someone fill me in about this.

2) Do you think Sharon will get her child back?

I don't really get the whole final 5 thing. I would think if the Cylons are robots, they would know how many and which models are made. It doesn't make sense to me that they don't know.

I do think Sharon will get her daughter back though, but she might have to leave Galactica permanently to do so (there's no way the Cylons would let her take it obviously).

I also don't really care who the final five are, and I don't see the significance of them, since they Cylons don't know who they are. If they Cylons don't know who they are, it's likely they don't know who they are, and they would practically be just another human.

I'm more interested in figuring out how they will end this series, because it's not a series that can go on too long, IMO, and neither should it.

^^^^ If they drag it past 4 seasons it will probably degenerate into nothing more than a bad soap opera.

i just realized they call the human cylons skin jobs, this must be a reference to Blade Runner where they call the replicants skin jobs.

^^ A very small one, not the standard "NEXT TIME" deal. They'll probably play more throughout January.

This episode totally played into my "Baltar is a God-like figure or the chosen one" theory, when he woke up in the white robe with a long beard and walked barefeet to quiet the crying baby on the base star.

Good episode with a pretty good cliffhanger.

I think he nukes the star in the system, it goes supernova, and the colonials jump out just in the nick of time. But I sincerely hope that it's not THAT transparent.

I want the eye to open or something,

I want to see a nuke blast of some kind,

I want Baltar to have excellent acting like always.

My only requirements for the next episode.

At least Lee and Kara will be alive- that was on the "next time" deal.

So they can't nuke the planet with those crazy kids down there.

So apparently the Universal HD channel is playing BSG episodes on Saturday nights in HD. So, if you get that channel, you can watch BSG in HD.

If anyone hasn't yet picked up 2.0 and 2.5, Barnes and Noble is currently running a "buy one get one free" deal on all TV box sets. I picked them both up tonight for only $33 (I had a $15 gift card from one of my students). No way in hell I was going to spend $90+ at retail to buy separate boxes, so I'm very glad I held out.

Yeah, they're moving it to Sunday in hopes that it will fix the downward trend of less viewers for every new episode.

After having finally picked up all of season 2, I have to say that I am astounded by the amount of deleted scenes. Most of them are really good backstory, but not vital to the show's timeframe. I really enjoyed the interaction between Adama and Tigh before they got back into the Colonial Fleet.

Desperate housewives, simpsons, NFL FB, 24 says so. It's increased competition, though. Scifi thinks that the bulk of their audience is home on friday night because thats where they put their big sci fi shows. I think it was a mistake to lump the no-taste fags who watch stargate with the sophisticates who watch BSG.

With that said, that generic and awful Eureka show is the most highly rated show on the network (on tuesday night).

BSG is at 10 on sundays. 24 is on mondays, fox animated shows are over with by 10 along with desperate housewives.
