I made a CD with all the RBC sounds that I could find and uploaded it to my xbox playlists to play during the game. Got Flair when we score, 'Lets Go Canes' snippets during the little breaks in play, dragnet music when we get a PP, Scorpions for the intro, the chorus from that gay 'The Used' song when the other team scores, and a few more. Pretty sweet.

Only thing if you do this is that you need to make a separate Xbox Playlist for EACH song. Also, NHL 09 only has the ability to let you choose from the alphabetically sorted top 8 playlists that you have, so make sure that you have all of your playlists with your arena music in your alphabetic top 8. I had to go back to the dashboard like 3 fucking times when I first tried to set my stuff up.

I took the goal horn out of the Flair Celebration since NHL already includes the goal horn whether you have a custom sound or not. Some of these files are grainy, but it doesn't really come through once you put them in the game.

I had to tweak the audio sliders as well, as the game makes all the custom sounds softer than the in-game stuff. Basically just maximize your arena stuff and bump the other stuff down a bit and turn up your tv/stereo a bit to compensate remember ONE song per playlist

One thing that annoys me about this game is that the goal horns are still so damn short. Many of them are inaccurate too, but it's the fact that they last about 3 seconds that drives me crazy the most.

According to the Eye, personalization will be available for the 3rds immediately including at the Carnival. I didn't inquire about specific players or heat pressing/stitching options. I may call again later and ask about that.

I've had them heat press them before and then I've had them sewn on by my aunt after that. I'm not sure if they'll sell just the nameplate, numbers and/or C and A or not.

^DiPietro's had to have a clause re-written. It's no big deal, it's just language that needs to be adjusted. this is what happens when you've got a 600 page document that governs contracts and all that bullshit. People dont know all the caveats.

Just as I did on June 19th 2006, I cried when Justin Williams scored on the empty netter to seal the deal. I hope I cry for all of the right reasons at the end of this season as well.
