Anna Paquin is engaged to Stephen Moyer IRL?!

How odd.

Yup! That just happened a week or two ago. They've been dating since they filmed the pilot for the show, so I guess that's like 2 years or so. He's 17 years older than her

Seem like quite the odd couple IRL, weird how I thought Ana and Alexander Skarsgard had more chemistry than her and her real beau

For the last two episodes to have been so good, that was a disappointment...the groundwork it laid we already knew. 48 minutes of a whole bunch of people just getting clued in and the ridculousness of the black eyed crazies. Oh and bill's going to the queen--whoopdiedoo!

But the Eric lover in me enjoyed the dream sequence...but we can't have Eric dream hour every week (well, mayyyybe )

and I suppose seeing sookie do something other than mind read was cool since every vamp she's ever met as alluded to her being "more than human"

hilarity when arlene says "not the top shelf! don't shoot the good shit! BOTTOM SHELF!!!"

Pretty good episode, surprised some people thought it was pretty piss-poor.

They started to move through many, if not most, of the open-ended plot elements.. would suck if they tried to blow through them all in one episode :x

ftr, I don't think it was a piss poor episode...I was just left wanting more

which, hey...kudos to HBO--mission accomplished! you gave me something, teased me with it, you ended it, and now i'm sitting here like a damn addict foaming for the next one

to quote myself from the post TB text exchange ritual btw my bro and I, I told him "hey...you know me. I'll watch this episode 5 more times b4 Sunday. It'll prolly grow on me!"

oh, and I love this screen cap of ERW from the set

and her house--PIMP!

i like to watch the episodes 2 or 3 times as well, cuz there's always something i miss.

and sure, they blew threw some plot stuff pretty quickly in this episode, bringing everything together really quickly - but we knew they were gonna do that, cuz it's the end of the season.

which btw, i'm extremely distraught over. it's the end of the season

the only saving grace is that Dexter and Grey's Anatomy are gonna start back up soon

if anyone's interested in some crazy detailed screen-capped recap, check out this blog

http://bloodbonds.wordpress.com/

the writer waits a few days after the episode airs to do her recap...usually a mid week kind of deal.

I thought it was a pretty good episode. They had to provide a way for Sookie, Bill, and Jason to catch up on everything that was going on. And while it filled that space, there was some entertaining action/comedic relief. And the whole white light from the hand shit with Sookie. It set things up for a pretty good confrontation/finale I think.

****************Possibly Spoiler-ish if you haven't read the book, though I don't think so ************************************************************************

i just read the wikipedia entry for the queen. Possible major spoiler there. Not sure what I was thinking really. If what I read there turns out to be the case in the show, it could make for an interesting turn. Sorry to even bring that up, but I'm really curious about something and don't want to look in the book v. tv show/spoiler thread.

For those of you who read the book, could you PM and tell me if you think the thing that the queen sent someone to do in Bon Temps is what is going on in the tv show as well? Meaning, is there anything in the show that makes you think that may be the case. I guess you could just post a simple Yes or No as well.

What I'm talking about should be obvious. It's directly under the Work and Position within the Vampire Hierarchy section of the wiki entry:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sophie-Anne_Leclerq

^^^ damn man. I put some spoiler alert shit and made it as ambiguous as possible even if someone did read it. Then you just put it out there like that. And you mentioned stuff that I hadn't even known about.

elkaybie sent me a pm with the answer to my question, but answered without telling me more than was made obvious from the source i mentioned. -- Thanks

I've edited out MadDriver20's post, but let me be clear: the next person to post spoilers without clearly marking them off so that people won't read them without wishing to will be suspended. Period. I'm giving his dumb ass the benefit of the doubt.

nobody has mentioned jessica taking a bite out of hoyt's mom?!?!?! was surprised to see her actually do it. i was enjoying jessica and hoyt's storyline. it will be interesting to see what this does to it.

i was gonna mention that, but I couldn't remember if it was in the episode or the preview. It was definitely a bit of surprise, but I'm glad it happened. Bill had been talking about how she can't control her urges and what, which seemed like bullshit up until that point.

she seemed at least semi nude on all fours in the orgy when Sam first walks up with Daphne (end of Release Me)...but at the beginning of Timebomb, Tara's wearing all of her clothes. whoops!

I could have sworn it at least showed some of Tara silhouetted after one of Maryanne's parties where she got personal with Eggs. And on the topic of Jessica/Hoyt's mum, I don't think she's gonna kill her, maybe just make her pass out or something so that she shuts up. Although Hoyt probably isn't gonna take it too well, as well as Jessica shoving him to the other side of the room.

That was a great episode. Since Eric is now a crying whiny bitch, Jason is officially my new favorite character (I swear, I'm not gay). The whole him playing God scene was hilarious.
