I did a 60 minute aquatic blast class today. It was very difficult!!!

im on the road this week & im killing it

i did my smoothie for breakfast, sashimi for lunch & jimmy johns (whole grain bread & no mayo) for dinner. i also managed to do day 3 of insanity in my hotel room. im feeling awesome that i can keep it up while away from home!

i took some photobooth pics of my stomach, sides & back today. i also made sure to grab at the flab so i can see exactly where i started visually (i also have actual measurements)

insanity is pretty hard but i look forward to doing it. i like doing it right after work before dinner. it amps me up and makes me only crave good food!

my next goal is to integrate the insanity meal plans into my diet & see how much i can do

i think i paid around $85 for it shipped from a seller on amazon

it came in the beach body box and everything was wrapped & in the box. i bought it from a seller named marina201 and looking on amazon now, i see that a lot more "used" sellers have shown up.

so i just ate a whole avocado and 2 tomatoes with just salt.


i used about 1/3 of a grinder container of sea salt.


and this is not unusual.


eat that one.

^^ever try the potassium chloride salt substitutes? they're almost as salty and really help meet ones RDV for potassium....i use it exclusively now, no salt in the house unless the food item was preseasoned, and i don't eat many processed foods anymore

hmmm really?

i really use a lot of it though...is there a danger in getting too much potassium (i mean i know too much is really, really bad, but my question is-with as much as i use is there a legitimate worry?)

where can i get it? i may have to start substituting at least little

perhaps, i'm not sure the UL on sodium, but its like 3500mg K vs 2400mg Na RDV, i just sprinkle it on, can't say I ever bloat from water though, I'm just too big to see any differences, I just keep potassium high and sodium low as IIRC potassium helps push water out and sodium retains water

i get em at any grocery, brand names like Nu-Salt or Morton's Salt Substitute found with the spices, usually near the salts in a small corner, its like finding the pizza sauce in the spaghetti sauce section

Sure can be hard some days to get the calories up while eating cleanly, and without protein powder in the house.

I hate you people who get to eat 3,000 calories per day.



Macros were a bit off yesterday. Also, I'm switching back to a pescetarian diet ... went off the wagon for a bit due to low iron, but now I'm on supplements. If anyone has good vegetarian or pescetarian recipes, hit me up.

Congrats. My first 5k was around 28 minutes (9 min/mile) and as I kept losing and running I got it down to a 21 minute 5k. Keep going and you'll definitely see even more improvement.

^How do you only have 11g of fat? That's impressive, I probably ate twice that at lunch alone...

^ Unless I eat avocado or nuts during the day, my fat intake is pretty low. I'm lactose intolerant. The only meat I eat is fish. And I rarely use mayo, butter and oil.

Would rather have a higher fat intake and lower sugar intake, but oh wells.

You can eat 3000 calories a day, as long as you burn 2000 of those off in workouts

1800 is admittedly more than i've been eating for the past week...been hitting 1200-1500 on a PSMF

clean eating here in bulk here!

and ok... so this picture that i posted a while back i realized i lied....

first pic i'm about 130ish, right now i'm about 144ish
it was a gain of almost fourteen pounds
not 8 like i originally thought (the wii let me know >.<, i apparently i thought i was a lot heavier than i actually was last year)

yesterday:



rest day

pretty good for celebrating my mom's birthday (nom nom ice cream and caaaaaaaaake)

today:



5:30AM - took pump & ride
6:30AM - taught below the belt
9:30AM - taught cardio/strength combo
5:10PM - carried a 45lb plate for PackMan92

I'm pooped. And I need to work on my fat intake LIKE WHOA.

OH AND I'M DOWN FOUR POUNDS AND 1% BF

Joie in a totally non-creepy way, you look a million times better in the second picture. That is a perfect example of why weight is a horrible indicator of physical fitness. You almost look emaciated at 130 lbs.

I got ready to run today and tired out really fast. I ate a sandwich that was a good 400 calories before my workout, I don't really get it. Some days I can a good bit and others I tire out fairly quickly, despite similar/nearly identical eating patterns both days. I don't get it.

I drink more calories then that daily. This is so #(@*ed. I figure if you are what you eat....a six pack should do it?

Anyway, my former prof/mentor took me to dinner last night so we went to sushi - I was good and didn't eat all my fave fatty sushi rolls I got a water, ginger salad, Budokan roll (ok that one isn't the best for you) and the sashimi roll

What's the weather like when you're running? If it's hot as shit, it's easy to get tired. Make sure you're hydrated and eating enough throughout the day to give you energy.

still trying to get in my calories, so I've been eating 7 small meals 'round the clock

breakfast and a big lunch..

so far, +2 lbs., but I'm not worried at this point

it's hard to get in 3800 calories on workout days without eating crap
