Sorry, I can't ignore Wenger's brilliance and class or the skill and style of Arshavin (at his best) and Fabregas.

so i think im gonna be supporting Man United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City, and Tottenham this season. Wenger and Fabregas could be my roommates, i love those 2 guys. Stevie G, you cant beat his tenacity, so just cause i like this guy means I FREAKIN LOVE THE ENTIRE LIVERPOOL TEAM. Tottenham, i mean come on, i support any team crouch plays on...The entire african contintent of Chelsea, i am 1/4 south american so thats why i love chelsea. Tevez kinda sucks, but i love it when teams spend over 300 million pounds in 2 seasons to buy all my favorite players...even the ones ive never heard of...i really didnt start liking manchester united til a few days when they drew to fulham. but that berbatov guy, ive never seen someone hustle as much as he does. i love that in a player. man i sure hope one of my teams can win the epl this season. ill be pulling for all my teams unless they play each other. then im a man united, arsenal and tottenham fan all the way. but if those 3 are playing each other then im just gonna pull a team name out of a hat and pull for that team.

my motto is: MULACMCTTID....Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham til I Die

you guys are just jealous my teams win the epl every single season

You've got me. I love soccer and appreciate any player who is entertaining to watch. And because I am a Christian, I try not to hate anyone. I no longer even dislike Coach K. So it is difficult for me to be partisan with teams.

Gareth freaking Bale

He's been playing out of his mind to begin the season. Assisted on all 4 of the goals yesterday in the Champion's League match, has a goal of the year candidate in the books already, every cross and and kick taken off a set piece is dangerous as fuck and right where it needs to be. At only 21 he could be one of the world's best in a couple years at this pace. He's been so damn dangerous. I can't wait to see what kind of offensive engine Bale, Modric (when he gets back from the groin issue), and Lennon form with Fabiano up top. Yeah, I said it.

There's literally no one I'd rather have going up and down the left side right now.

He's reconsidering now that we have CL $texas to spend and Sevilla never got in, apparently.

A raise and champion's league football, or stick around on a team going nowhere that is currently being picked apart by the bigger clubs. We'll see.

[Edited on August 26, 2010 at 7:22 PM. Reason : they don't mention him being cup tied on the Spurs forum, but now I'm wondering...]

No deal. Tottenham doesn't have Villa/Eto'o/Drogba money to spend on Fabiano.

Adebayor is ready to gtfo...

http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=818107&sec=transfers&cc=5901

Quote :
"Emmanuel Adebayor has revealed he is ready to quit Manchester City due to his limited first-team opportunities.

GettyImages
Emmanuel Adebayor could find opportunities limited at City this season
• Barca and Milan in for Robinho
• Manchester City 2-0 FC Timisoara

Adebayor, 26, appears to have slipped down the pecking order at Eastlands, playing just seven minutes of City's opening two Premier League fixtures, and reports have linked the striker with Real Madrid and Juventus.

Adebayor insists he is willing to battle for his place at City should he stay but says he will "definitely" leave if an offer comes in.

"The season is going to be very long and very difficult for myself," he told talkSPORT. "I'm a footballer and have to keep going and not give up. I need to keep fighting for myself and enjoying my football.

"If you're in a team and you're not playing, and there is a team that comes in for me, then I will definitely be on my way out because I'm a footballer and I love playing.

"If I don't have a chance to play here, there will be a lot of chance to play somewhere else. If they [City] force you out then you always have to follow your destiny."

Reacting to Adebayor's comments, and interest shown in Robinho, City's football administrator Brian Marwood said: "We are no different to any club, they have signed the contract and made a commitment to the football club until both parties decide that they won't be at the club any longer.

"They have to remain professional, they have a contract and they have certain obligations to the football club."

Roberto Mancini has indicated that Roque Santa Cruz could also move on, with Lazio and Fulham showing interest.

"I think if Roque wants to stay I'm happy, but Roque is a good guy, a good player," he said. "Like Shay [Given] - he wants to play. I think that if Roque finds a good situation for him, he can go.""

LOL

[Edited on August 27, 2010 at 7:56 PM. Reason : And lol, Roque Santa Cruz could go too... Like rats from a sinking ship.]

It sucks that the ref refuses the blow the whistle when players are just flat out getting mugged in the box in this match and in the EPL in general. If it is a foul, it's a foul, no matter where it occurs. Give the damn penalty.

He could have awarded Blackburn 4 different times by my count in this last 15.

Yeah, there were a few but it doesn't help you if you're diving like a moron anytime you are marked closely. I hate when teams play for a penalty and ignore actually playing towards goal... And it really never works. Time for the Spurs game...

Also, lol at the ESPN commentary on City.

Yeah, the Blackburn players were playing for a penalty in those last few minutes. I do recall a few times they were mugged in the box though, and I, too, think that's lame.

in other news, kiljadn must now place Fulham near the top as one of his most hated teams as they have now seemingly fucked Man Utd and Blackpool in the last few mins of the game

FUCKING A

This was a pathetic showing. Literally, the three best chances this entire match were all Wigan and they only had the ball for what feels like 30% of the time.
