Not watching the game, Hines has 15 yards on 4 carries and 27 yards on 4 catches. Not bad.

A little surprised JaySam hasn’t had any chances with bell out, not that I expected him to a lot. Just thought we might see a little of him.

Finley continued to look good on the Bengals. Against the Chiefs he was 13/18 for 109, and against the Redskins he was 20/26 for 150 and 2 TDs. Assuming Dalton's spot is secure despite his abysmal performance yesterday, he's still probably gonna beat out Driskel in my opinion

I have always said I think Finley will make a fine backup QB in the NFL because he's smart. He will be a miserable failure if he ever is expected to start for an extended length of time because he has poor downfield accuracy and is prone to mistakes under pressure. I firmly believe Glennon would have blown Finley's numbers away had he played with the monster pass-blocking OLs Finley had the luxury of playing behind, and if Finley had been forced to play behind the shit OL Glennon had he wouldn't have been an NFL prospect.

Also he has a noodle arm (leading to poor deep throws.)

Because I hate everyone who thinks he was a fucking great QB.

He's less talented than Brissett and Glennon, he was just surrounded with NFL talent. He's a smart guy who usually makes the right presnap reads. He isn't good at post snap progression and doesn't have great arm talent. That's why he'll be a good backup QB, because he'll be more valuable in the QB room than on the field.

Other than the multiple times I've said he'd be a fine backup. He's a great fit in Cincinnati because he's a poor man's Andy Dalton. Neither one can throw deep worth a shit so they don't have to change the offense for him.

Raiders just picked DeShone Kizer up off waivers. Seems to hint at Glennon getting moved as there is no chance they go into week 1 with 4 QBs and Gruden has had a public love affair with Nathan Peterman for some reason.

Update: Raiders put Peterman on IR with some bullshit injury, so Glennon is still #2 in Oakland.

Also, a bunch of former pack players got cut.

Also, Brissett signed a new 2 year deal for $30 million dollars, $20 million of which is guaranteed. I'd assume this deal is front loaded because the Colts have a ton of room under the cap this year, and that gives them the ability to move on in case Brissett flops for them. Also Brissett gets all that money because he represents himself in his contract negotiations so he doesn't have to pay an agent ~10%.
