I despise ESPN as well. If it weren't that they do a pretty good job at televising college football and have a lot of it I would not watch it nearly as much. They have lost all credibility in actually being a news organization. They are all for entertainment. Other outlets like Yahoo are now my source for sports news. I only watch games on ESPN now.

Yeh, but this wasn't hacking, IMO. I'm not a techie, but hacking, to me, implies gaining unauthorized access to another system. This was exploitation of poorly written HTML on a public page.

interesting tidbit: the background image of that college is my undergraduate alma mater: University of Rochester. A DIII school with a football field not much bigger than a large high schools and who play competition like U Chicago and Brandeis

"hacking" does not mean to gain unauthorized access to a computer system, legally that's the same as trespassing on private property. "Hacking" is bringing together heterogeneous resources and programming knowledge and tools to accomplish 1-off tasks. "Hacks" are often ugly and inelegant but they "get the job done" usually at the expense of reproducibility, maintainability, security, scalability and efficiency; but "it works for now".
