after last year's disgrace, theres no reason to have any ewuity in the program. we have no ceiling on this team but that doesnt mean it would be reasonable to expect us to live up to potential.

mid 30s is probably about right

gottfried teams will always have a ceiling as a result of playing shit defense and relying on two freshmen to be your best players is kind of iffy if you need a top 10 offense to be a top 20 team

^tbh, i don't think we are relying on Yurt7 to be one of our two best players. that'll be Henderson most likely. we definitely will need him to contribute and be an impact player. but i don't think we need nor expect him to be the 2nd best player.

Wait, are we ranking our current players for NBA potential or just who will be the most effective this year statistically?

My take:
DSJ - no brainer
Abu - double-double machine
Yurt - potential double-double machine
Henderson - lots of PT available because of shooting
Dorn - likely lead the team with FT attempts
Rowan - will be interesting to see how he's used
Anya - 6th man, good leadership, good defense, will have some solid nights
Johnson - supposedly our best defender already, think he'll work his way onto the court
Hicks - dude screams next Leonard Freeman
Kirk - heard he's improved, but just too many guys in front of him
Kapita - just can't see a scenario where we get lucky enough for Yurtseven and Kapita to both get cleared and this one seems like the more likely one to fall through

I ranked them on who I think will be the best players on the team this year.

I've been following Dorns Instagram and he looks ready to have a monster year. And his highlights at charlotte from two years ago are pretty damn impressive.

Pro tip: Instagram is the best way to evaluate how good the players are. And hendersons insta is lacking
