Looking ahead I think most people would tip Bayern, Barca, and Real to get through as well. That means that Liverpool has to beat 2 of those 3 to lift the trophy. Still a massive task, especially if Barca or Real get drawn in the semi's.

As a spurs fan I wouldn't expect you to know that United's treble win in 99 and Arsenal's invincibles takes a lot more than what City has achieved this year. So much so that no one has since repeated this in England. Apparently basic math means that City with the league title and EFL cup are the best ever though because they will eclipse the points total by 2 or 3 points while not competing for any trophies in the last 4 matches.

The article didn't predict Liverpool would be 2nd it predicted they had the 2nd best chances to round out the top 4, behind Spurs and just ahead of United. The 3 teams names most likely to finish top 4 are now very likely to finish top 4, so well done by the author.

It also didn't really predict ANYTHING any more than Vegas odds PREDICT the results of games.
