i dont wanna make a thread about it, so all you habitual WAYT thread readers answer a question for me, if you can.

2 or 3 days out of every week, i wake up with a sore lower back, and sometimes i'm lucky enough to have lower back AND shoulder/neck pain. the pain is usually gone within 2hrs, which means - it's either the bed or the pillows causing me pain. i'm inclined to say pillows (and their positioning) because if it was the bed i'd be hurting every day...right? the bed is only a year and a half old, and it's got a pillow top and it's kinda half firm, half soft.

what say you?

i always sleep with two pillows under my head, and typically keep a long squishy body pillow between my legs and kinda hugged to my chest all night.

like this, only it's not a tempur pedic kinda pillow, it's just a squishy soft thing:

I've noticed all kinds of weird pains like that when I don't put a pillow between my legs. Not sure if that's the problem but I could see your back being all out of alignment if your legs are too close together.

I guess I'll get rid of the body pillow first for a week or two and see if that helps the situation.

We spent $texas on this bed though, it's gonna piss me off if the bed is the problem. Though the back pain hasn't been consistently happening since we got the bed, so I'm inclined to think it's a pillow problem.
