she said she shot them all b/c they were 'sick'

and i tried to find how long dynamite takes to 'sweat' like that, but source only said 'long-term storage,' didnt say how long. but from the amount of sweat and the packing material, straw, and my memory of what the ship looks like (it had masts didnt it??) i would say that is a very old ship and russo could not have been on it.

1 - When Desmond entered the numbers last week, he hit the spacebar between every number. When Locke typed, he never touched the spacebar (but the spaces seemed to be inserted anyway).

2 - Desmond asked Locke "do you know how to use one of those?" Does that mean, "do you know how to use an old POS like this?" or does it mean, "do you know how to use a computer at all?" Does Desmond have any idea how advanced the outside world is? I would assume he does since he met Jack IRL just a few years ago.

3 - Some speculation sprung up last week from Desmond getting down off the top bunk, the presence of a ping pong table, etc, implying that there might be more than just 1 person in the hatch. This week we saw 1/2 of a ping pong table mounted against a wall. Lends more credence to Desmond being alone down there.

4 - More confirmation on "Quarantine" written on the inside of the hatch. Desmond asked about how many of the survivors have gotten sick. He knows that there is something out there that is bad and it is quarantined off from him.

2-another good one cuz to me when he said "those" he meant "crazy contraption", like he had never used a computer before, but clearly he's been in the outside world less than 10 years ago (unless you buy into the twin theory which i dont)

3-i kinda toyed around with the idea that his bunkmate was the person he replaced, i mean that place has been there for a long time, multiple people could have lived there before desmond did.

I agree, I am pretty sure that Walts stepdad, or whatever his name was, came to Micheals apartment in the US, and said that Walts mom had just died. So he came from Australia. I seriuosly doubt she died in route to Austrailia, and her Husband moved in all the shit after she died. Hell, I dont even want to try to explain, its pretty clear she died in Australia. If you cant figure that one out, you dont need to be watching the show.

1. Virus
2. No sleep for however long he's been there (the whole entering numbers every 108 minutes thing)
3. As far as we've seen so far, he hasn't had any human contact
4. The drugs he uses could make him crazy

^^^Yes, then he is looking at a comic book with a polar bear in it. And that on top of his step dad saying he cant keep him because he is special/shit happens, something along those lines. The step dad is obviously frekd about him. We have already seen that Walt is reading a book about birds, and then the same bird he talks about crashes into the window of the room he is in. Then he has a comic book with a polar bear, and it dies on the same island as him. A tropical island where polar bears should never be. Somehow I think all of this revolves around Walt. Just not sure exactly how yet.
