Ragged, yet again you prove to be the worst kind of asshole. you screw your friend over by supposedly "helping" him with the car, only to ruin it further with your incompetence. rather than admit this, you proceeded to add more half ass shit to the car, ultimately causing other bigger problems. wisely, he finally decided to cut his losses and get rid of the car. now, you have the nerve to poke fun at his misfortunes and those of the current owner? knowing you are directly responsible for a lot of it? wow.
i'm sorry your life sucks, you're forced to ride a bike as your only transportation, still have to live with mommy, can't keep a job, have a girl that fucks around on you, etc. but that's no excuse to try and drag other people down to your level. get it together man.
^^^^^yeah, at least that guy has an excuse and probably just missed a key. unlike the person with the plymouth belvedAre above. you are truly an idiot and do not deserve to sell your vehicle if you can't even spell its name correctly. definitely not a typo considering it's spelled that way more than once in the ad.
^^^they came with some shit, just like the rest of the car. the 2.9 cologne v6. also found in winners like earlier rangers/bronco II's.
you know, ford makes some really nice vehicles for their european brands/markets. so, churching one up under a different brand and selling it to north americans as a luxury german car really was a pretty good idea. they were very successful with the capri in the 70's. in theory, it's a win win situation. people will either sing praises to fomoco for importing such a fine euro car, or worst case they figure out it's just a ford but still sing praises because it's so much better than the crap ford has been offering the domestic market. the only problem is they chose the scorpio as one of the cars to do this, effectively killing the brand in very short order.
^^ahaha, that's hilarious. 11/18/2008 5:47:33 AM |

You don't want a late 80's Caddy, not for that price at least. If the mighty 150 HP 4.5 V8 and the very sketchy 80's GM build quality don't deter you, consider that there was no such thing as a DeVille convertible from the factory. That means this car was a custom job, which should bring to mind all sorts of questions like does it seal properly, did they brace the frame properly since unibody cars don't take too well to having their roof chopped off, do all the electronics still work...let it be someone else's problem. If you want a Cadillac convertible, either look for an Allante or an '84-'85 or pre '77 Eldorado ragtop.12/17/2008 10:47:17 AM |

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Reply to: sale-1029444745@craigslist.org [?] Date: 2009-02-10, 5:06PM EST
I have Old Faithful up for sale today. She is a 95 Corolla with around 200,000 on the clock. She is light blue with grey interior, automatic, A/C, cruise, power windows and locks, Premium sound with CD and tape, and upgraded speakers.
The engine was rebuilt a few years ago when the timing belt broke. I figured if I had to rebuild it, may as well soup it up a little. The work was done by Big Dog Racing in Wendell by a Toyota master mechanic. The head has been ported/polished, 5 angle valve job with Manley valves and springs. Reground cams, Custom header back exhaust by Seattle Specialties Racing, no cats(since the car is a 95, it dosent require cats to pass inspection!), quiet sleeper muffler with mellow tone(not a little rice buzzer), and a Sceptre SRAM air intake. The car is putting down over 150hp to the wheels. Not bad for a 1.8 N/A, and will still get 30 mpg city and 36-37mpg hwy.
The body is beat up, fender was cropped by a deer, driver door was victim of a hit and run in a parking lot, and rear bumper was a love tap on I-40. Body panels aside, it is reliable as the IRS. Everything on the car works as it should. Many parts have been replaced in the last year, and I will go down the list with potential buyers. There is just to much to list.
I will entertain offers from serious buyers, but will not give it away. I am only trying to recoup some of the money invested into the car. No lowball $500-600 offers, they will be ignored. Dont waste my time or yours! This is a good car that has a beat up body. If you want good looks, this isnt for you. If you want a great little car with good gas mileage and reliability, but dont care about looks, this is for you.
Please give me a call at 919-971-5593. I am available from 11am until 2am most anyday.
By the way, this is a 1 owner car bought new from Fred Anderson Toyota back in 1995. It has been taken care of with regular oil changes and routine maintenence. This is a cash sale. No shipping, dont ask. No stupid scammers either!!
Thanks, Seth " |
