anyone read the idiotic quote from Jesse Holley yet. hold on let me find it and post it.
http://www.heraldsun.com/sports/18-763380.html pretty optimistic article, but what do you expect out of Chapel Hill.
Quote : | ""Our out-of-conference schedule may be not as strong as it was in the past, but if you look at other teams in the ACC, other North Carolina teams -- I won't mention any names -- those guys played Citadel and school of the blind," UNC senior wide receiver Jesse Holley said. "They get three or four wins, and the next thing you know they're in a bowl game somewhere because they played two handicapped schools.
"We've got Notre Dame. Furman, what were they, in the NCAA I-AA championship? And they've won here before. And South Florida is not a slouch, either. They beat the brakes off of Louisville, and Louisville beat us by 50. So there's still some good teams that we're playing." " |

admitting that your school has lost to a Div I-AA team and saying that they'll be tough is like the quintessential self-pwnt. add to the fact that Furman did not play in the Div I-AA championship game is just gravy on the mashed potatoes. 8/23/2006 8:06:15 PM |

I love when we get no respect in media it gives the players motivation to kick some ass. SI has us tied with Wake at 1-7 with a 3-9 overall record, trying to figure out the wins, one has to be Wake since we are ahead of them, I am thinking ECU and a toss between App and Akron.
I also haven't seen any lines for this game. Has anybody found the betting line for the game yet? 8/23/2006 11:22:43 PM |

man we need something like this for our football team on gopack.com. i think it's good for recruiting and promotion of the program and school. think about how cool it would be to text message a recruit to check out that part of your team's atheletic site, especially the part on the strength conditioning program with the interviews with current players, former players now in the NFL, and NFL strength coaches. 8/24/2006 7:29:05 PM |
