I noticed a good deal on Air Wick's automatic sprayers at CVS. They have a $4 peelie on the ones here in my hometown. I bought them in conjunction with 5 free after ECB items that I had $1 coupons for, so I spent $4 ECB's to get one.

I got a raincheck on the Arm and Hammer Essentials kits for 2.99, limit 5, and I have five $1 coupons...and she wrote "with $2.99 ECB" on the raincheck! Has anyone used a raincheck with ECB's and gotten them? How does that work?

good luck getting the A&H kits, everyone on Slickdeals is saying that stores won't be getting any more stock in because they've been discontinued - which is why last weekend each store had no more than 10 of them. i haven't asked a local manager yet, but i'm going today after work to cash in my rainchecks for various items from last weekend (since they get a truck today) so i plan to ask a manager. i'll report back what i found out.

Tomorrow's CVS ad has South Beach Diet cereal bars 2/$5

There is a printable for $2 off South Beach Diet bars and a CVS coupon from the Diabetes book for $1 off of 2


So I bought 2 (all they had was the peanut butter variety) and used 2 $2 coupons and the $1 CVS coupon and got both boxes free

So if your CVS starts their Sunday ad on Saturday likes mine does, you can go do it now!

I also got a Schick Intuition razor. Sunday's ad has them $8.99 w/ $5 ECB back. I've heard that there are peelies out there for $3 off but I couldn't find them at my CVS. So I bought one and used the $2 coupon that came out a few weeks ago and got back $5 ECB. Word of caution...the Schick Intution w/ the free Dove shampoo samples is not on sale and not producing ECBs.

I think I'll be heading out in the morning to do all my shopping, once I've had a chance to go through all the coupons in the Sunday paper.

Of course, I could go out and get everything I have coupons for right now, and then go back tomorrow. Decisions decisions.

^There are no coupons in this Sunday's paper since it is a holiday. Save your money and buy two next week when there are 4 inserts.


Also, the air wick coupons were in for Air Wick Lumin'Air Starter Kit in the 12-07-08 SS for $5.00/1 expires on 1/18/2009.

That's what I saw...2 SS, 1 RP, and 1 PG.

The SS insert schedule I found said "January 4, 2009??" and it had a little * which was footnoted as "Dual Issue" for "New Year, New You!"

Just a heads up, almost all of the good ECB deals that begin Jan 4th at CVS are working right now. It's been all over Slickdeals, and I tried it out myself. Got the max of the Soy Joy bars and the Glade deal tonight, and they are both printing the ECBs. The cashier said the TP deal was also working.

Walnut/Tryon and Kildaire/Kilmayne - though the Kildaire store had less than 15 boxes to start with and I took 5 of them.

And they're on the endcaps, not on the aisles with the rest of the dietary supplements.

I've read a lot of people on Slickdeals haven't been able to find their SoyJoys yet either. I guess some stores know that the sale started early, so to avoid selling out before the sale even starts, they're hoarding them in the back, haha. The store at Walnut/Tryon had at least 3 displays of them, so if you get them in the next few days you should be OK.

I got back $24 to spend next time.

I have 2 $1 CVS q's for South Beach Cereal Bar that can be used with the two printable $2 off to make the cereal bars free if anyone wants them. Just shoot me a PM.

Part of it I paid for with ECB's and I made more back than I originally had...but I also purchased a few things from Wal-Greens where I used coupons and cash.

the frank's red hot sauce was $1.59 and there was a $0.75 coupon that came out a few months ago

So, there's a thread on Slickdeals for HT deals, and someone went through and matched up all the worthwhile Qs from the last few months with their products, and totaled each item after the Q. I pretty much went by that and made a shopping list, and will hit up HT after work.

Also, about the massive number of Qs in this Sunday's paper - where can I buy the paper? I typically get one delivered, but I'm going to go out and buy one so that I have two paper's worth of inserts. Where do you buy yours? Gas station? Grocery store? I have never really looked for the paper so I don't know where to start.
