Look for center cut bacon, it cooks up like regular bacon but has somewhere around 30 calories per slice. 8/26/2011 12:38:27 PM

and for all the other bacon comments
I spread brown sugar and cinnamon over the top and baked it - the brown sugar melted and created sort of a glaze.. hence why it looks funny
but it was damn good

^ make breakfast the night before - i used to scramble eggs or pack up items the night before so i just need to grab and go in the morning.
i'll hard boil a bunch of eggs on sunday and then put one in a container the night before i take it with me. i also do the same with my oatmeal - put it together and then just store it in the fridge (i add blueberries to mine) and throw it in my lunch bag in the morning.
i have to be at work by 7 and have a 20-25 minute commute so i try to get up the latest i possibly can which means putting all my food together the night before. then there is no guess work OR any excuse to go through the drive-thru line.
this morning i had a banana, iced coffee, oatmeal with blueberries and 1 packet of truvia, and i am going to eat a hard boiled egg soon. 8/31/2011 8:55:50 AM

Yeah but I'm too lazy in the mornings to even microwave a meal lol. I literally roll out of bed, freshen up, throw my clothes on, and run out the door. Takes me about 10 minutes to get out and going in the morning and I'm usually rushing. Bad habit formed in high school I suppose. 8/31/2011 9:01:31 AM

right so pack everything the night before. trust me, i get it - i am up at 6:10, take about 10 minutes to get ready, and am out the door so i can be at work before 7.
if you put together your stuff the night before then you can just grab it and walk out the door. 8/31/2011 9:04:01 AM

i found if i put together my breakfast and lunch (for the next day) while preparing dinner, it makes it a lot easier than trying to put everything together after i've had dinner. i figure since i'm already in the kitchen cooking, i might as well pack up my food. that helps me
and then i can be as lazy as i like 8/31/2011 9:12:23 AM
