NC State dominated Time of Possession but came up just short as Clemson hit a 30 yard field goal with 3 seconds left. The Wolfpack's last ditch effort just went over the outstretched hands of Donald Bowens on the goal line, allowing the orange clad Tiger fans to breathe a sigh of relief.

Clemson only attempted three passes all of which were complete for 73 yards and one touchdown. The real damage was done on the ground where CJ Spiller amassed 184 yards on 16 carries and 2 touchdowns. NC State had no answer for the speed that Spiller demonstrated, oftentimes looking as if they were standing still.

For the Wolfpack, Daniel Evans went 20 for 26 with 246 yards and two touchdowns. Evans also threw one very costly interception in the Red Zone that halted what could have possibly been a scoring possession. Bowens had seven receptions for 129 yards, with a hail mary catch at the end of the first half that saw him stopped on the one yard line.

Tom O'Brien seemed pleased with his team's effort in a game in which the experts had seen NC State as being overmatched. "The extra effort the team put into practice this week showed through the effort they exhibited on the field. They left it all out there. It was a tough game to lose, but hats off to Clemson for coming with a game plan and executing perfectly," O'Brien said after the game.

NC State travels back to Raleigh to face the East Carolina Pirates in the upcoming week while Clemson stays at home for the fourth week in a row to face FCS Southeast.

because that is how I felt. But for real, it was a great game, and I executed everything I wanted to in that game, I just came up short in the long run. Makes me feel better about my chances in other games though.

It was a great game and I enjoyed playing against you even if I lost

Oh and I saved a few replays, that I will upload when I have more time...

how do you do onside kicks? I have no idea what I am doing on them... do you let the power ball go all the way up (like a max strength "on side kick") or is that the same power bar as before where you would want a "10% regular kick"? and I usually put the cross hair up in the upper corner to try to hit down on it to make it skip and jump but it never works

I put the crosshairs at the top and then kick with like 50 -66 % power...I have gotten 2 out of the three I have done in games I have played...whether against the computer or human..

Duke pretty muchs runs a train on Navy, 49-3

Almost had the shutout...they made a FG at the first half buzzer that doinked in off the crossbar

Boyette leads the way on the ground with 201 yards and 4 scores...he gives way to his backup Harris later in the game, who piles up 34 yards and a TD himself

Thaddeus Lewis continues his impressive campaign with an efficient 189 yards with 2 TD's

His main target was the tight end King, who caught 9 balls for 105 yards and a score

Defense didn't have any standout performers, just a solid performance from the unit to shut down Navy's ground attack

4 star corner Thad Adams visited for this game, and was no doubt impressed with what he saw

First year coach David Cutcliffe was asked after the game if he was impressed with his teams 3-0 start

"This is exactly where I expected us to be" he said. "We're not going to sit back and be satisfied now. The way I see it, we've only just begun"

It seems as though the winds of change may be blowing in Durham after all

I think with the weekly previews, a different person can just do the whole thing every week, instead of breaking it up by section

Mikell Simpson carries his cavaliers to a 20-7 victory with 29 attempts for 142 yds and 2 TD. The cavs pounded the ball on the ground and held the T.O.P advantage 13:46 to 6:19. Brandon Woods(UVA) comes up big in the 1st quarter with an interception in the endzone following a Simpson fumble. looks like the drive summary bug is still there from earlier builds. Normally don't pay attention to it, but in the game earlier, it showed that the drive was 100yds(I started with a return out to the 50). Anyone else noticed this?
