That’s exciting news!Do you guys know if it will be a boy or a girl? We didn’t find out. We figured that’s one of life’s few surprises. But I totally get the logistics of knowing.

we do. it’s a girl. since my wife is at an advanced maternal age, we decided to have as many genetic tests as we could for the safety of everyone involved, so we were able to find out the sex earlier than usual. we could’ve asked them not to tell us, but we felt more comfort in knowing

It's wild that at 35 it becomes a geriatric pregnancy.Congrats [Edited on October 21, 2026 at 12:35 PM. Reason : A]

Yes, my wife was considered a geriatric when we had our second and we had a slew of tests as well. We asked them not to tell us sex though. I think she was 36?There’s no advice to give (that you didn’t ask for) that you haven’t heard already. Just pray that she likes to sleep . My first didn’t (still doesn’t, at 13) and the second one was a little bit better but not great. It’s amazing how different two humans from the same set of people can be.
