I mean if you don't like beer, Saucer sucks. That's pretty much the only reason anyone wouldn't like it (in terms of actual drink selection -- I know a lot of people on here hate anyplace where guys like me go). Also, I never have to wait for a beer.

Actually, I did have ONE waitress who was awful once since I got back, but I didn't even recognize her and haven't seen her since.

^I'd say the service I get there is on average better than most places I go. And if the server knows me (which usually happens 50-60% of the time) than I definitely get better than average service.

^^ I guess I should have said wait for any long period. But, yeah, typically I don't wait at all. I'm not pounding beers when I'm there usually anyway and almost always order my next before finishing my last with no wait in between.

you're right, that isn't a place where beers are typically being thrown back hardcore, but almost EVERY TIME i've been to the saucer over the course of 8 years, we (as a group) have had to wait on beers, and for a while. as much as I do love the saucer, it is only known as the bar with all the cool beers, hot skanky waitresses, and slooooow service. i've always seen it as the waitresses think they are so hot, that they can get to you when they feel like it, and most guys won't complain because they are dressed like harlots. But don't get me wrong, i do love going there; i just know to flag down the waitress everytime she's in my line of sight or else i'll be aboard the sober train.

it's because the bartender puts too much head on the beer and by the time the beer gets delivered to me (20 minutes after it was poured) the foam has settled and the draft appears to be 2/3 full

^^I have found the best seats and MV- it is in the back in the "handicapped" section


sure, if someone comes in that needs them, I will give them the seat. But they recline waaaaay back and have bars you can kick your feet up on. Also, you can drink beer at MV- it is my go-to theater (w/ the occasional exception for Imax)
