I feel like certain types of mistakes should require punishment. Selecting 'Cougar Town' as the name of your television show should be immediately punishable by death. It must be somewhat funny to have survived as long as it has with such a horrendous name, but I promise you, I'll never watch an episode to find out.

i hadn't watched this show since i hated the first few episodes of the series until i watched some season 2 episodes the other night due to friends that kept recommending i watch this. it's gotten a lot better, pretty funny show

I watched all of Cougar Town after references in this and people talking about. I previously would not view it simply because of the stupid fucking name. Now I have to say it is pretty good. Liked the tie-in between the two shows and hope they do more. Could be quite funny.

I don't think he has validation issues. You just have to realize that he loves storytelling and television so much that he'll discuss them until you literally force him to stop. For god's sake, the man has been directly involved in the creation of no less than ten sitcoms.

Couple that with the fact that most intelligent/creative people are very competitive AND enjoy second-guessing themselves, and you end up with something that looks a little like validation issues, but really isn't.

no, chang's part was horrible. I realize they were satirizing the whole real-time narration thing, but it was poorly executed.

actually i didn't really enjoy much about yesterday's episode.

a couple of funny moments, but most of it just felt awkward... and not in a funny way.
