My first panic attack was on New Years Day.

I was watching a documentary about Elvis and when they got him him dying on the toilet, I felt my heart skip a beat and then start rushing. Long story short, I hyperventilated and went to the ER. I was so jacked up that my resting heart rate was about what it is when I do cardio at the gym. Given fluids, a B vitamin shot, and two Ativan injections. And this is where 'generalized anxiety disorder' became 'panic disorder.' It put my life on hold for months.
