Personally, I don't agree with showing footage of people jumping off the buildings during 9/11. I don't understand why someone would want to exploit something like that... It's really not helpful, and more harmful than anything.

Even when they released footage of Saddam's hanging - I'll admit, I was curious so I watched. I regretted it immediately.

The only thing I would consider completely and 100% reassuring (if I even wanted reassurance.. personally, I believe them) is if they showed his DNA sequencing information, or a gel showing the matched DNA to another piece of DNA they had of his on a live feed. Even then, you could claim things like, "How do we know it's his?!?!?!" David is right, a picture isn't going to prove much because people can always claim it's fake.

1) The USA could be immediately called on a lie. One picture of Osama with that day's newspaper wouldn't prove he is alive -we all know about the body doubles, photoshop, etc - but you'd think Al-Qaida would be all over doing something like that to discredit the US. You'd have a lol it's a lie photoshop, body double, whatever picture to make US look stupid on the relative short order. I guess the next month or so will tell whether they go that route.

2) That link from above. Didn't Al-Qaida confirm the kill? I guess they'd have to be in on the conspiracy.

It's personal to me. My brother died in in Afghanistan, another friend was hit by an IED in Ramadi, I swear in this Thursday as a reservist and head to BT in July. I hate this mother fucker and would blow his head off myself if I could. I don't love death, in fact I'm sick of it....that's why I'm happy Bin Laden is dead, because he brought all this to our country. I try not to make judgements on anything without proper facts and there are absolutely no proven facts being released right now. I hope our government is being truthful, but I'm not short sighted enough to believe they've always told the public the truth.
