too many friends' parents as friends on facebook, so i dont even really use it much anymore...

for twitter though, anything goes

google+ will probably be self-filtered too since it's got my whole name and all that

how do you know if you have invites?

When google voice was invite only it was very easy to tell. There was a very visible indicator that had the number of invites you had left. I'm assuming that there's something just as noticeable with google+ and I just don't have any.

It looks like they are sort of using something like a myspace friends list. With google+ you can seperate friends, family, and acquaintances.

G+ will never take over FB since it just sounds silly to say, 'Like us on Google+' or anything like that. Google really needs to research using other names instead of g-this and g-that. Of course gmail works, but that does sound badass. If you think about Picasa and Youtube, just imagine if they were named gtube, or gpics or something silly like that. Basically its just sounds really funny to say G+ or Google+ to me.
