Can't blame this one on TJ. Lewis was doing great in the beginning, then the defense adjusted and he didn't change his game. That's where the turnovers came from.

Oh, and Cat Barber trying to be a fucking hero in the first half and missing everything.

Warren didn't have a particularly good game. Terrible FT percentage, his shot just wasn't falling. He hit some clutch baskets.

I don't understand the nuances of college rules, but I thought they had a 10 second rule, and had Warren not fouled immediately on that throw in, it would've been our ball with 25 seconds left. 10 seconds doesn't reset with a timeout, does it?

Our only chances to score points in the last 5 minutes was free throws, we were never allowed to get in position to take a shot. There was nothing else besides the free throws! State was given free chances to score and they could not convert.

Gott should have aged his players an extra two years so they would have had the maturity to handle pressure.

Gott should have called a timeout to teach them the fundamentals of free throw shooting.

Gott should have benched his starters and played his bench players because they would do a better job of hitting free throws.

Hodge never quit and never choked (unless my nostalgia only brings back good memories). That team lost games after being down big early and fought back to lose it by inches, so we were proud of them for continuing to work hard.

This team gets up big, then if the other team makes 2 baskets in a row we start to panic. It's like they think we're playing NBA Jam and the other time will be on fire if we let them get a third.

man, this was tough. This team was exciting and actually fun to watch considering the low expectations. I guess I will just try to remember that we werent supposed to fly so high anyway and pretend that makes it better.

We quit. That shitty boring free throw/foul/press drained us and we just wanted to coast on our lead. Players gave up and once they got it down to 2 I think most of us that have been here awhile knew it was all over.

Strap in for another year of similar expectations that will probably land us in the NIT. Being a State fan is so draining. The only thing I can equate it to is my failed marriage lol
