I might be a complete fool for not knowing this, but dates on checks don't mean a god damn thing. I post dated a check to my landlord and it got cashed a day before the date that was written on the check. Had I been around when he picked the check up, I would have told him to wait until today to cash it, but I was at work. 35 fucking dollars down the drain

Um, pretty sure they shouldn't let someone deposit it before the date. My grandmother used to complain that she couldn't deposit her pension check that she got until a few days after it arrived because it was postdated.

I have the opposite problem of reading something the way it would be correct rather than what's actually on the page sometimes. Words where I know there has been an error in the past tend to always hang me up. Like whenever I see the work Magazine I am afraid it's going to say Magzine.
