trying to decide if I want to work my beer samplings this weekend or quit the job. I'm not going to work there past this weekend no matter what, and they scheduled me to work from 2-6pm on Saturday, meaning I will miss the majority of the UNC game. Also, I will have to work a shift immediately after I get off of work from my regular job on Friday (which sucks since I have to work for like 11 hours straight), and there is a chance that one of my big clients will want to meet with me on Friday afternoon.

I feel bad because I know they will be in a bind if I do call in/quit. fuck

one second I feel like doing just that, the next I tell myself to suck it up its just 6 hours of work - I can get it over with and just not schedule myself to work anymore shifts. That will keep me from burning any bridges if, for some reason, I decide to work there again in the future, which is highly unlikely.

I've already tried to get someone to work for me and no one has volunteered.

first world problems I guess, at least I have a second job to bitch about

yea i definitely understand how you feel though. i try to avoid burning bridges at all cost. you never know when you might need that job, or a contact at that job again. sucks. but i can relate.

if it makes you feel any better i have missed all but like 2 football games this year, in their entirety, because i've had to work every saturday. so i definitely know how you feel

I really wish I wa going to see my family for Thanksgiving.. I haven't seen my sister in 11 months and mr parents in 5.5 months. They need to retire and move back to this coast.

At least SOME people will be in Raleigh to hang out that weekend!

i am probably making apple cobbler and i know that shit is good cause i made it for christmas last year. and i was pretty impressed with myself. and the people i fed were even more impressed. i am also making sausage/apple/dried cran/almond dressing. i haven't made it before, but it sounds delicious.

sometimes i'm amazing.
