good to know! i actually ordered a dress from saks.com yesterday that was on sale. it was about $200 but i got it for $119 with tax AND overnight shipping. eeeee! so excited. it should be here in a couple of hours.

also,

Lulus.com is great. i have a friend who buys from there a lot (mostly shoes) and she says they're really comfy. she had a really cute pair on the other night.

I would suggest wandering around a mall with a friend trying on dresses. I think Macy's has some crazy sale going on, Nordstrom always has good (but expensive) dresses and Belk's actually has some cute things in too.

I did that site! even the weird measurements they wanted. (I got the "M" shape) BUT I wasn't happy with the suggestions. Some of the stuff I was just like ... WTF? There was like a blue sack dress and lots of stuff with volume ... dresses that don't look good on hardly ANYONE. Even with a belt it's not a huge improvement.

I decided I could make better decisions on my own. if you feel like you need basic fashion education, then watch What Not To Wear. that show seriously taught me how to dress.
