I am a fan of Yo Gabba Gabba. The themes are very simple/wholesome and it is def made for kids who are less than the age of 9. I can't stand to watch more than a couple of episodes in a row because it is wicked simple but Maya just LOVES it. She also LOVES to dance.

I live fairly far away from Downtown. Living without a car is a pretty big pain in the ass.

I am within walking distance of the metro and that's how I get to work. If I lived in DC proper it wouldn't be time for a car.

Ugh... that was the least comfortable conversation with my parents so far, in a somewhat long string of unpleasant conversations.


...hell, I've got a good relationship with them in general, but my father refuses to accept the fact that maybe there's something he doesn't understand outside of his limited scope of knowledge... somehow, for him, "never thought about this subject" translates into "automatic expert on this subject"... and to make it worse, his limited scope of knowledge is middle-management in the business world.
