^ for your sister i'd say the limit is probably higher than your average. when i'm buying for a friend i usually stay around $50 - $100 depending on how close i am with the person. so i'd say for a sister you could spend a little more. maybe more toward the $100.

my boss wants me to go with her and a few other co-workers to tour some other campuses to see if they like the work management software we are planning on upgrading too since they already use it.

it would take a few days to do this and i'm not sure how I feel about it. I just got the promotion so if my boss asks me, I feel like I should do it, but I'm not thrilled about the idea, and I was told I didn't have to if I didn't want. They just think it would be a good idea.

I assume that means I don't really have a choice anyway. haha Should I go? or come up with an excuse as to why I shouldn't?

^ i think i'd go. i mean it sucks but you said you just got the promotion. i feel like it would look better if you went, yea? unless you think it'd be no big deal (actually no big deal) if you didn't. then i guess you could make up an excuse. definitely sounds like it will suck but also maybe one of those things that if you do it this time, the next time you can make up an excuse and not feel guilty about it or look worse.
