I want to run Maarkanen as bad as the next guy, but that was just an unlucky deflection off the defender's skate on Ladd's goal.

Still, we are looking sharper in game 2 and finally getting up and down the ice with speed. If we can keep this pace up, I don't see Edmonton sticking with us for 3 periods.
