I've got some interesting decisions to make tomorrow

Jake Delhomme (at Tampa Bay, possibly no Steve Smith again)
OR
Jon Kitna (vs. Green Bay)

Need to pick two of the following:

Reggie Brown (at San Francisco, hamstring injury but expected to start)
Deion Branch (vs. NY Giants, not starting but could see a lot of action in his first game)
Bernard Berrian (at Minnesota)
Marques Colston (vs. Atlanta)

^^game time decision

I think he will, if nothing other than a decoy.

I would wait a week to start him though. Of course that depends on your bench.

They're saying Steve Smith will see some gametime today. Do you think I should take any of my other recievers out in case he actually does something?

J. Galloway Car
A. Johnson Was
Ma. Jones@Indy
S. Smith@TB

well matt jones is a gametime decision today also, so I'd drop him off of the list and start smith

a questionable steve smith >>>> a questionable matt jones

Another dilemma at RB. I'm trying to get D. Williams because I have a feeling he'll be starting before the end of the season.

Who should I toss? L. Maroney or J. Addai?

I plan on trading Westbrook if he does well this game, because his knees are going to just get worse as the season goes on.

I would prob go with Leftwich

ive got to choose between Favre, Delholme, and Pennington

who should I choose?

[Edited on September 24, 2006 at 11:42 AM. Reason : Seattle or Carolina DEF]

I'd go with Pennington(Buffalo D is pretty good but a lot of youth)

Carolina D. Unless Simms has turned his game around since last weekend then he's primed to throw 2 picks and get sacked 3 times.

other than Pennington, who would you go with, Delholme or Favre

[Edited on September 24, 2006 at 12:19 PM. Reason : based on fantasy points, Delholme has been a huge letdown however, he could do well against TB ]

Well, Favre is going to be throwing it a lot where I expect Fox to establish the run game first.

I wouldn't start Delhomme until he can win a game without Smith or they get Smith back.

Any other opinions on Vick or Leftwich?

I'm thinking Vick could do well in the prime-time but the whole "sob story" thing has me thinking NO will be PUMPED.

Leftwich might get in a TD throwing contest with Manning but Jones may be out.

Leftwich will get you more fantasy points than Vick

Carolina DEF vs TB
or
Seattle DEF vs NYG

the NO defense is horrible

linebackers are probably the worst in the league

i wouldnt be surprised if vick's line tomorrow is like 120 rushing yds 1 TD 150 passing yds 1 TD

Yeah I'm only playing Vick in hopes he'll put up the rushing yards plus maybe a passing and rushing TD.

Leftwich will more than likely have more passing yards and more passing TD's.

It's a definite.

Quote :
"Panthers wide receiver Steve Smith is active and will start today's game against the Buccaneers. Smith has missed the last two games with a right hamstring injury.

Smith will likely not be 100 percent today, but those without a solid replacement option should start Smith and hope he is healthy enough to produce. Those with Jake Delhomme on their rosters can feel good about starting him again this week as well. "

I was thinking mcgahee and galloway..... mcgahee is playing against the jets and it is very windy... could mean more runs... plus gore is playing philly

PHI's run d isnt as good as it seems

game 1 they played houston, who had to abandon the run (their rbs are horrible anyways)
game 2 they played NYG who also had to abandon the run

for some reason I think this game may be closer

willie parker got first TD and is running hog wild

Glad I went with instinct and started smith, that 100 yard bonus is nice, I'm within 12 points now with most of his players done with both my RB's (dunn and gore) yet to play.

BTW, one guy in my league has Kasay, Houshmanzada, and Palmer. He is PWNTing someone 121 to 60.

DAMN IT JACKSON, YOU GOTTA COME DOWN WITH THAT BALL!!

I rolled with Kitna and he went off for big yardage and a couple scores. Also went with Reggie Brown who already has a 50 yard catch, and Vinatieri got injured so I picked up the Bears kicker off waivers and he had 4 field goals and an extra point. Also grabbed Maurice Jones-Drew as a free agent about halfway through the Jags game.
