both valid points. i didn't really consider the cost per day (which is about what they refunded), just the fact that 3% of 8 or 9 bucks isn't that much.

and i guess they handled the outage pretty well. i don't know what caused it, but it must have been something serious since they were completely out of commission for most of the evening. but they had service completely restored before midnight. the netflix offices were probably a madhouse of phone calls and tech guys running around

I heard recently that during maximum usage times, netflix uses 20% of all bandwidth. that's kind of obscene, and not good for the future potential pricing schemes of high speed internet, if there is more streaming video available.

this show (frontline) is so good. i'm so addicted

this one (as is the case with a LOT of frontline episodes) is prob going to be difficult to watch :/

If you like documentaries (even if you don't), check out 'Waste Land'. This artist goes into the largest dump in Rio and makes portraits of the people who pick recyclable materials from the garbage out of matter they collect. It's a good look at the lives of the workers and the way he creates the portraits is amazing. My only 5* rating I've given so far.... in the week I've been a member.

Alien vs Ninja for the absurdity that is this film

I think you could make a decent drinking game out of it.

Drink when there is an awkward special effect/cut scene
Drink when a character makes a stupid face.
Finish your beer if something semi-sexual happens with an alien

needless to say I laughed the entire time I wasn't enjoying the good fight scenes.

well they changed how they do tv series now...

you don't pick it by the season, it just shows all seasons grouped together. I was on season for, ep 4 of TPB, but now I'm on episode 25 (in the description it still says what season and episode it is). Should make it easier to go from season to season and load them into your que (this way you don't have to add each particular season), but it is still change! AND I DON'T LIKE CHANGE!!!!
