I wish I could say "at least the game was close" but if we aren't winning, I almost wish we have been blown out to give TOB a more added sense of urgency of needing to make changes, i.e. with the defensive coordinator. The fact that the game was close just means that TOB is going to say that we were one play away from winning, and will stress the need to "stay the course". If the game wasn't close, he'd probably be more likely to give more thought to administrative changes.

We would be in overtime right now if the coaches hadn't wasted the last possession in the first half by not calling a time out until 7 seconds left. Yeah, we missed tackles, sucked on defense, and didn't make a few plays on offense, but the poor clock management can't be blamed on "the arrows in the quiver".

We played a lot better than I thought we would, but it's always much easier to watch games when you already know the season is over.

Looks like special teams covered better than in games past. Still can't decently kick the ball down field though. The punts don't even arc for some hang time OR get distance they're just these short line drive kicks.

Defense. Yeah. Our defense is our defense. Score 42 and still lose the game. Oh well.
