Did you guys miss the memo on getting free replacements a few years ago? They only made a few hundred thousand faulty ones. I have never ever had a disc problem on this xbox and hadn't heard about this problem in years (the people i play with got replacements as well, mostly for free).

The game doesn't freeze. Players get messed up and stuck coming to the line if you switch plays in formations but if your game is crashing frequently then its a hardware problem since everyones game is the same. Maybe saving the game onto your xbox makes it more likely to freeze? I would call xbox but if not you could try just deleting the game.

When I got my new XBox, I upgraded from an original and used to have my profile saved on a memory card. The new XBox doesn't support the memory card so I transferred my profile to my HDD and transferred the entire HDD contents to the new console's hard disk. Then I copied my profile to a new USB memory stick so I could move it to my bedroom to watch Netflix on my old 360.

But I still think the problem is M$/EA servers

Console and disc could be fine, wouldn't prevent Electronic Arts from shutting the bed

People with DSL have tons of problems but even when the server drops it tells you with a message (ea cannot continue this game at this time), the game doesn't freeze.

I have Roadrunner Turbo...Ernie and I were playing our game (1st attempt) and both of us got disconnection errors late in the 2nd half...the game didn't freeze...we were both still talking to each other in our XBL party...how is that not something fucking up on EA's servers?

When my game has actually frozen a handful of times (twice in my online dynasty game last night), the game completely locked up...pressing the XBox guide button did nothing...that might have had something to do with my profile being moved around and recovered, not sure, but others have had the same issue it seems

You do know that EA has released exactly 1 update to XBL since the game has been released. I was just looking at the @EANCAAFootall twitter feed earlier (ran by the lead developer) and he was responding to plenty of people's questions about game issues, saying he would forward the suggestions to the appropriate people

The XBox 360 isn't infallible nor are any games, especially when they came out only a few weeks ago. You can't do a 100% efficient beta test of a game amongst a few hundred or few thousand people, and then expect the game to perform flawlessly when millions of people start playing it. You also can't realistically test the server load.

Games against the computer are not even played on the servers. If you are disconnected it won't let you know until you leave the game and try to upload the results.

Im not saying it has anything to do with the servers... its obviously an issue with the disc, coding something as i have a brand new xbox (1 month old)

I too have the game installed to my HDD which in the past has corrected this issue with other games

Saving the game to the hard drive does reduce load times, also keeps the xbox quiet and extends the life of the drive

Finally finished the TCU game... Sucks it wasn't as close as the first two that froze. But my D and Mooooooosssssssseeeeeeeee had monster games. Moose goes for 252 and 3TD including a 92yd TD trying to run out the clock. Also had a 60+yder in the first half. Defense had 6 sacks, 3 picks, 5 FF(3 FMBRec). 41-23

Clemson played a good game, FSU overcame a mountain of shit just to score what they did

Tigers' d line is ridiculous, under pressure all game, couldn't run for shit

First pick I throw to an open receiver slanting across the middle. The guy in pursuit kicks in the afterburners and runs past my guy when the ball is in the air. The receiver, of course, makes no play on the ball at all and just lets the guy snag it.

Second pick I led a fucking perfect drive, felt like I had him off balance the whole way. Get down in the red zone, see my TE wide open streaking to the goal line and let it fly... only to have the MLB teleport into position and grab it with one hand. He then proceeded to drag my entire defense down field, breaking three tackles for a 30 yard return.

There was a four lane highway down the middle of my defense all game. Clemson's backs destroyed me and shed every tackler in the way.

Good game from pty, but this game is absolute bullshit.

And goddamn the QB lag. Clemson's giant motherfucking DT was chasing Manuel all game, but he's got like 8.4 40-speed. The one time he did come lumbering up the middle untouched, I was jamming the hell out of the receiver's button but still couldn't get it off.

Clemson's TE also appears to be the largest TE ever to play football
