The radio person this morning on Mix 101.5 (which I was flipping through, and missed the first part of the discussion) said that the "Our State" campaign is incredibly offensive to UNC, since they are the "University of North Carolina" and clearly their response is forthcoming to rectify the situation.

I gotta ask a newb question. What does APR stand for and where did you get that stat?

Academic progress rate?
Annual percentage rate?
Annual progress report?
April?

I think we should use "welcome to the jungle" again

It would be very effective if used correctly and if consistently used, could become integral part of Wolfpack "brand"

much Bray, Rogers, Hunter love by Bleacher Report:
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1232225-picking-the-preseason-all-sec-team

for those of you new to college football, Bleacher Report has been around since the 1800s and its pretty much considered THE (capitalization intended) the final word in college football, a lot of other sites (Phil Steele, Athlon, Beckett, Leonard's Losers, etc.) basically steal their info and analysis from BR

yeah, but who wants to dig through that for info relevant specifically to State's season? that's silly. I mean, I care as much as the next guy on who will be the starting fullback at Idaho, but its not going into a State thread.

Suggestion for this years intro.

Everyone starts jumping up and down yelling ohhhhhhhhh. Then louder like OHHHHHHHHHH.

THEN RIGHT BEFORE EVERYONE EXPECTS POWER PACK HAVE ALL THE PLAYERS RUN TO THE GOALPOST AND SIMULTANEOUSLY PULL OUT A CELL PHONE LIKE JOE HORN DID ON THE SAINTS. THEN HAVE THEM SPRINT BACK TO THE SIDELINES WITH THE PHONE UP TO HELMET EAR AS THE SPEAKERS BLARE THE SONG "Call me, maybe"

I started that tradition years ago with my "Days till _________ game" threads. After like two years posters, on PP started doing it. I'm sorry I haven't done any of those threads in awhile, but my schedule is just too hectic the past year or two with clinical rotations and studying, particularly for board exams, and what not.

haha, so who would that leave us with at QB after Glennon?

Taylor not on the team anymore and Pete Thomas is sitting out for transfer reasons.

Pete Thomas will have two years of eligibility after Glennon leaves.

If Brosius leaves, Manny Stocker will be Pete's only backup, so far.

oh, yeah. i think so. unless there's a walk-on i'm unaware of.

edit: wait, didn't we have 2 or 3 local QBs join as "preferred walk-ons" in the last couple years?
