he's more deserving of the Offensive Player of the Year than he is MVP

They're a game back of the wild card and ponder has been fairly bad this season. Without him they might not have a win. I'd give him both awards if the Vikings can win 2 games and sneak into the playoffs (they play Houston and GB so they might lose the last two)

Manning is having a shit game today, but I don't think you can question his status amongst the top end of NFL QBs.

Flacco on the other hand is just his usually shitty self today.

Eli Manning is properly rated

no idea how anyone could look at his body of work and say he's overrated

If you look at statistics and how he compares to peers he is below average.

He has 2 superbowl rings, 1 of which i can say that he was responsible for. The first one was all his D

Trent dilfer has 1 superbowl, dan marino has 0. So by using people's Eli logic, dilfer is better

must have missed where somebody claimed he was better than Marino

also, 2 Super Bowl MVPs = legit

looks like you're confusing Eli Manning for Ben Rothlisberger

my case is that he's a properly rated quarterback with two Super Bowl rings who has proven to come through in the clutch multiple times

I would think that's all a fan would want in their QB

He throws too many picks, but he's amazing in the 4th qtr. and he has an impressive playoff resume on a team which has been pretty bad running the football.

not that it really matters, just sayin'

If you were starting a team how long until you get to Eli? Peyton, Brady, Brees, Rodgers.. Right after that? I wouldn't trust him to lead my team, he can be really good but can be really bad too, like the inverse of romo. Bad when it doesn't matter, good when it does.

if i'm starting a team I'm taking him over Peyton...not that he's a better QB, but he has more years left...but thats another argument I guess

It looks like it was all correct just a very messy situation, that probably involved about eight sections of the rulebook.

Ball should have been spotted at the 26 after the penalty enforcement from the illegal touching spot, it was actually at the 22.

Finally I'm not the only one saying this. He is a slightly above average QB. His talent around him is pretty good. He's also been sacked the least of any QB that has started every game.

its plays like that that make me wish that PI would get capped at 25 or 30 yards or so. I think its assuming too much to make it a spot foul in all instances.
