What a freaking mess of a day!

PetsMart failed to tell me that just because my pets grooming appointments were at 11:30 and 12, it did not mean that they were 30 min. appts.

It took me about 4 hours to get my dogs back! Took up the better part of my day.

I get my dogs home, Tonka takes a poop and comes back inside with blood coming from his butt. I'm panicing because I do not know what to think, but at the same time, trying to keep my Mom calm because he is her (110 lb.) baby.
So, I spend about an hour following around my big dog, looking at his butthole - trying to figure out if it was just where he maybe tried too hard to poop and had a small cut, or something worse coming from inside.

So, I take him outside and rinse his butt off to be able to tell if more fresh blood comes out. So far - so good. I haven't seen any fresh blood. I just hope everything still looks good in the morning. In addition to my dog's health - we just had the carpets cleaned, so I really hope everything has cleared up by the morning for sure. Maybe he'll sleep the shock off too.
