by the time you buy the oil and a new filter you need, then actually do the labor, its worth the little bit of extra money to have someone else do it

i'm just going to butt into this conversation and say that it is cheaper goin to jiffy lube and such for an oil change,

but the oil you are paying for is of the worst quality. i'd rather spend the extra $10 or whatever and make sure i give my car the best oil.

losing 30-45min or an oil changing my own oil isn't a big deal.
