I thought it was pretty good...I like how it leaves you confused as to whats happening...makes me want to tune in next week. Evangeline Lilly is gorgeous. The Dolby 5.1 track was rocking!
I still dont understand why mrredemption was so shocked that this was in HD...every drama/sitcom on ABC is, why would this be an exception?

I think the Charlie guy is some kind of convict that was being transported on the plane. When Jack was flashing back to the plane somebody ran by him and Im pretty sure it was Charlie, then the lady said "guess he really had to go" implying he was running to the bathroom. Then a couple of seconds later like 2-3 more ppl (guards) run by after him. Then Charlie insists on going with them to the cockpit, Im guessing he wanted to make sure they didn't find anything that would tip them off and to cover up or get what eer was in the bathroom...

Only if the channel offers it, and mostly only on HD channels, except for SD HBO, Encore, and a couple of other premiums. Probably inDemand movies too.

And yeah after the first 21 minutes was uninterrupted, I wasnt too happy about the commercials for the rest of the show, especially when they came back, had about 2 minutes of the show, then back to commercials, promoed EVERY FUCKING ABC SHOW before getting to the previews.

It's unforunate that they chose to split the pilot into two episodes. It works much better in one piece. A lot of the questions that are posed in the first half are answered in the second half. Plus a lot of the stuff that really hooks you in doesn't happen until the second part.
