ATHF is odd, and takes a bit of getting used to but it is far from just random....they are formatted in basic shells of plot structure, a lot of the jokes build off each other and the characters are developed from episode to episode

wonder shozen/andy whatsisfuckits shows have nothing in common with ATHF

if anything the randomness in ATHF falls to the side of Family Guy, with plenty of clips and random jokes built in for sarcastic purposes

you either like the show or you do not, i have no problem with people not liking ATHF, you can fucking hate it and crusade against it for all i care, just don't make any bullshit assumptions that are clearly not the case from watching 1 episode

we arent saying it is hard to do. ppl are making fun of you b/c the show is only 15 minutes long and it is obvious you havent seen it and are making an uninformed opinion.

you saw the part of or maybe the entire first show, which wasnt very similar to the rest of the series (see the simpsons comment) and judged it solely based on that. thats fine if you decide not to watch it again, but doesnt make ur opinion even close to educated on the subject.

i saw this show yesterday and i couldn't watch more than three minutes of it. it just irritated me to point where i couldn't watch anymore of it.

and for the record, i hated ATHF the first few times i saw it (meatwad pissed me off). it took seeing a carl-heavy episode to make me change my mind. it's ok now.

much like the preview the bits are extremely hit or miss. some i hate, but some i love. i think the concepts for lots of them are pretty funny, but he gets on my nerves (though its obviously done on purpose).

that said, snoop dogg doing pancake face later in the episode is golden (shows its not just random).

^ agreed. But usually MTV shows at least have eye-candy to make the shows 'worth watching'. Without the usual attractive people wearing next-to-nothing to distract the viewers, the suckiness is even more obvious in this show.
