The first thing I did when my Jeep flipped was to remove that "If you can read this. . ." sticker. It was funny at the time though.

Removed it from the fixed Jeep.

I guess technically the first thing I did to the Jeep after it flipped was turn off the engine.

I got back and my jeep had new tires and wheels. It drives better, but I miss the 33s. At least my parents kept them so I can switch them out if I want.

that isnt a 91, unless you went through all the trouble of putting tj fender flares on and relocating the fuel door.

I've always been a little interested in Jeeps but never really got into it. I still probably know more about the aftermarket than most guys up there just for the fact that we don't get alot of people buying for hardcore reasons.

The trimming for tj flares isn't that bad... just get a grinder w/ a cut off wheel.

The fuel cap move is a lot easier than you think, the worst part is drilling a 4.5" hole in your jeep. The rest is stock TJ parts and TJ license plate mount to cover up the old hole. I got tired of holding the gas nozzle in the whole time i was filling up. It probably cost 40 bucks with ebay parts and took a few hours.

While you got the 4.5" hole saw... go ahead and drill out some holes for LED tail lights...

wow that looks nice
did you get a new paint job after you did all that?
maybe you can help me do that to my jeep sometime

once when i was pumping gas i put the auto filler thing on and it flew out
the gas spewed all over me and all over the ground
on top of that she made me pay for the $2 of gas that went everywhere but my tank

of all things to break on a jeep the hood latch on the drivers side snapped in two (the rubberized section) while on Ft Bragg yesterday... Must have been a combination of the heat and rough as fuck washboard sand roads down there.... So the dealership in Aberdeen couldnt get one til Friday, so I had to come back to Raleigh just for that piece

thank goodness for zip ties, used that to connect the upper section of the broken latch and secure the hood to make the trip back.

not a good sign shits already breaking on my '05

Yeah that does suck... im goin to test drive another jeep today... i know it's a red sport with black top and a 5speed with around 61k miles. They're asking $10,500... however i can't really do much over $9,000 so i dunno how nice they'll be.

When i do get my next jeep... i think im gonna build it differently than my last one. I'll plan on putting the 4.5" Rubi Express short arm lift and possibly 35s... but def no lower than 33s. It's good since i salvaged the warn rockcrawler bumpers and warn winch along with my mickey thompson rims and BFG mud terrains. I'll need to find a pair of lights for the windshield brackets since all the others broke in the wreck. I'll also be looking for some type of locker setup and also to regear from 3.73 to 4.56. But yeah, just thought i'd give yall a lil idea of the next build on my "El Jeepo Dos"... lemme know your ideas and suggestions/thoughts on it.

i'd drop the $$ for long arms (or radius arms) ... they ride soooo much smoother.

and Seth didn't repaint the jeep but did paint the flares, rockerskids, rocker plate & bumpers.
the dude also has some mad skills @ making bumpers front and rear. & We have a set of XJ rocker skids still if anyone wants them.

and my favorite thing is the high steer conversion HE MADE!!!

haha 1" solid bar stock tie rod= teh beeef!
