i've had offers to trade for a '94 CBR-600 F2, an '01 Shadow Spirit 750, and a '99 CBR-900rr. I'd do any of them plus cash, but I'd want the total to add up to a little more than I'd take in straight cash. I'd ride the bike for the rest of this season, then get either an '05 or '06 middleweight this winter.

i've got 2 guys talking about coming to test drive it later this week...another who's eBaying his K5 Blazer to get the money together to buy it.

there are 64 people watching the auction, and I've gotten probably 10 calls/emails. that blows my mind. that's my biggest hope for the auction blowing up at the last minute.

if someone from NCSU happens to really want it, PM me. for the right price, i'll just add "buy it now" to the auction and end it in time to drive it up to Raleigh this weekend, because I'm coming up anyway...that'll save you either the cost of shipping it or the trip to Pensacola and back. holy shit, that thing is quick out of the hole for a 7000 lb truck!

(we raced the supercharged S2000 against the chipped turbodiesel Excursion a couple of times last night. on the highway, it's a slaughter in favor of the Honda...but out of the hole, i have to launch fairly aggressively to beat him. From the stoplight, I heard tires squealing HARD, and i was like "damn, i didn't think i was launching hard enough to spin--it took a couple of seconds for it to register that it was the damned EXCURSION that was totally lighting the rears up!

Definitely no match for the S2000 on the highway though. That little car is a screamer on the open road.
