there are students who work their asses off, or got lucky with a great job, that can afford $80,000+ cars. anand, who drives a ferrari 360 (last i saw), is probably the most well known example of that.

also, vipers depreciate pretty well. you could pick up a '96 or something for a fair price. insurance may be another matter in itself though, especially for someone who isn't even 25 yet.

well look at it, i mean, out of 30000 students at state, how many have nice cars? and im talkin like more than $80,000. the only one i can think is anand (is he a student?)

i mean, lots have maybe $30-40,000 because they are wealthy (or their parents) or they have good jobs somehow.

either way, some people have it, and others dont.

yeah but a set of pulleys and an engine tune shoulf give an easy 750 hp and w/ the launching abilities and low weight of a gt.... it would be nearly unbeatable on the street.

theres a guy on the cdsm board that makes like 280whp with almost a blown engine (best cylinder has a 50% compression loss, I think the rest have like 100%-90% lost compression) and still passes all those slow hondas. He decided not to be lazy and rebuild now
