No Marshville isn't that bad, but I got really irritated at all the folks that just get all into your business b/c they have nothing better to do.

Ok I have already come to the conclusion that Charlotte bars most certainly do not suck.

I goto the clubs during the week. I guess dixies and buckhead is ok, but it is a lil neck for me. There is no college scene like there is at glenwood.

I'm not one for the big party bars like hi-5 or stool pigeons. I'm more of a flying saucer/laid back bar

Because there are no colleges downtown - Charlotte has peeps from all over, check out Brick and Barrel, stool p's, grand central etc... There is a lot more to offer in charlotte than raleigh because of the size.

Forum, Menage, Twist, city tavern - dilworth, Phils, Connonlys, RiRa, Therapy, Madisons - all on Tryon st. so there is a lot to get into you just have to just go in and check it out.

Yea, the array of people isn't always great downtown. And you have to worry about gettin jumped in the parking deck and your shit gettin stoeln.

I havent been to twist, dilworth, connolys, therapy, or madisons. I will have to check them out.

Moving to uptown or dilworth.

I'm looking for a small-time poker game or someone to play some racquetball with..

Yeah it's definitely not a college scene...but that's good for me because I'm done with college. There are lots of mid-20's people downtown, that's why I like it.

I'm in Huntersville. The Fox and Hound is ok, but can get expensive. Check out the Rusty Rudder, especially once it warms up.

a buddy of mine is a Red Oak distributor. He just it on tap at the Rusty Rudder on Lake Norman. If you haven't been there yet, check it out. Supposed to be a great place during the summer - lots of boat traffic, big outdoor area, plenty of talent . . .

oh yeah, and you can't complain about how far away downtown is. I live at exit 23 (off I-77) and I can be at Buckhead in like 20 minutes

i'm moving to CLT for a year (at least), then we'll see about NYC

I go to NYC tomorrow (well, today), come back Sat - and move to CLT on Sunday - start Monday!
