^^^ Because his reports are such that they leave no other interpretation:

1. Hillary Clinton. A bitch or just an unhappy woman with PMS? We'll hear from the same loser who once had a job at Clinton's White House, but is so worthless that nobody invites him for any reason other than to discuss why Hillary sucks everywhere except her bed.

2. ACLU. Would they ask you first before fucking your children? We'll hear both sides.

3. Prayer in schools. A rapper-dopehead says "fuck no". We'll let you decide.

etc.

Seriously, name one issue where he's liberal.

to be fair

we could do the same with jon "golden boy" stewart...

it claims to be a comedy show, but there's motive there, and the ratings for "news" prove it otherwise when it comes to 'information'

what i would love to see is a chart on someone like charlie rose or tim russert

I'll go ahead and go with the classics:

Quote :
"CARLSON: You had John Kerry on your show and you sniff his throne and you're accusing us of partisan hackery?

STEWART: Absolutely.

CARLSON: You've got to be kidding me. He comes on and you...

(CROSSTALK)

STEWART: You're on CNN. The show that leads into me is puppets making crank phone calls.

(LAUGHTER)

STEWART: What is wrong with you?"

Yes, all new channels are going to have their biases, butI found Fox with anincrediable republican bias! Almost all the new channels were leaning republican up until this past year. I usually watch CNN and then BBC to get a well rounded view of what's going on in the world.

Anyone remember all the news reports criticizing/investigating Clinton?

Travelgate, Whitewater, Monica, Monica, Monica, Monica, Monica, Monica, Monica, Monica, Monica, Monica, blowjob, blowjob, blowjob, blowjob, blowjob, blowjob.

News organizations have been giving Bush a blowjob ever since 9-11.

I'm not a huge fan of Fox News, mainly because they are too "in your face" with the flashy graphics, sound bytes, fast "sense of urgency" music, yelling, etc. Honestly I hadn't watched any TV news until recently with the hurricane coverage. I get most news from NPR on the way to work and then browse Google News a couple times a day to keep up to date.

I feel like most TV / cable news channels insult my intelligence by repeating the same shit over and over, showing the same 5 second video clip again and again, all while inudating me with commercials every 2 minutes. The only reason I've watched the hurricane coverage on TV is because they have much better video footage than I want to spend the time finding online.

I have to say though that I did watch an entire episode of Bill O'Reilly for the first time this past week. He is hillarious. Granted he's a jerk, but the guy is funny. He had some economist on there talking about why price gouging for gas should be legal and encouraged. O'Reilly just kept cutting him off, telling him he was wrong and yelling at him. I was laughing so damn hard. The kicker is that O'Reilly made a good point regarding oil companies and both my wife and I (she's much more liberal than I am) agreed with him.

I guess my point is, take all the news with a grain of salt. The best thing to do is get your news from more than one source and media type. Form your own opinion based on the facts of the matter instead of one journalist's interpretation. CNN, Fox News, ABC, NBC, etc are all biased in the same way - they are for profit. They will show what gets them ratings and keeps the advertisers coming back. IMO, the only news network(s) that are truly unbiased are the CSPANS, and that's because most of the time they don't have any commentary.

most people are idiots who put way too much stock into what some douchebag comedian/actor/celebrity says and not enough into researching issues for themselves and making an informed decision.

Hannity was on the radio last week trying to be a Joe McCarthy apologist. I mean really, WTF? You can interpret his crap so many ways, but none of them are good for anyone but Joe McCarthy.

If I liked smug little jerkoffs who are basically cheerleaders for the current president, then id like him too.

ok are you actually telling me that comedians are less trustworthy and more dishonest then politicans?

only one of those two types of people has a reason to lie and decieve.
