I'm going to reiterate this is a STUPID FINANCIAL DECISION. S2000, M3, NSX or any other retardedly fast coupe. Get your fucking feet on stable ground, work for a year, save up and THEN buy whatever the hell you want and pay CASH for it.
Stop, step back and think about the rediculous amount you will be paying for interest (because you aren't going to get a good rate) and all of the little shit that needs money when you first move to a new place, start a new job, etc.
But then apparently a lot of the people on this board live outside their means. 9/7/2005 8:05:58 PM |

tis true, buying something cheap if you even need to buy anything at all is a much better idea than any of these or any expensive car... putting your money into a house or some other kind of investment at least is what you need to do
but nobody listens
hell i dont even listen to myself 9/7/2005 8:11:29 PM |

sounds good noen.... no rush. moving tomorrow, reality check came in the mail today. but its...gonna...happen. nsxs will only get cheaper with time. The idea that I could stretch to it in the very near future is exciting. I may set my sights on bigger fish in a year though. In which case I'll ask you all to weigh in again because TWW is a fun place to talk about this shit.

M3 man, I'm telling you. Go ahead and get your gratification now. Enjoy something that's not expensive to buy or upkeep, fun to drive yet practical. Ahmet 9/8/2005 3:22:44 AM |

Being that the people on this board are supposed to be college educated, yet it seems that basic financial competence is lost on nearly everyone.
So yes it suprises the hell out of me that people don't have any damn monetary sense. 9/8/2005 3:05:10 PM |

Maybe a year and a half ago, when I was working full time, and could absolutely afford it. Then I decided to return to school, so there went my bling bling
^^^Going to college has nothing to do with living within your means. You can buy anything responsibly. But I'll bet you have a good job, good credit and had been working for a while before you bought the thing. That's my point. 9/10/2005 10:50:23 AM |
