^ hhmmmm...hope not!

The only reason I did so much better on this exam was his study guide...that thing really was pretty accurate. Yes, it included TOO MUCH information (like lots of it wasn't on the test), but at least he didn't really "not include" anything on it that we saw on the test. Plus I already knew everything about the internet, so that helped. Phew, good to know I got at least 1 A on one of his exams.

No mention of the test all, no mention of a curve.

He went strictly over Chapter 13 today, nothing extra. Just reading slides. Most. Boring. Class. Ever.

Man, I went today and I'm tired as balls. Slept through most of it so I wasted my time.

Anyway, test review sheets to be distributed on Tuesday Nov. 1st.

I dunno if he handed 'em back...I think he just put our scores on Vista and kept our tests. No mention at all of a curve.

During today's class he handed out the study guide for our test Thursday...he said he'd post it on Vista.

He also covered some slides only on the I drive, well, 'til now.

Here they are for those who can't understand this man's obsession with the ever elusive "i drive" (me included)

I don't think the assignment itself will be difficult, just deciding what to do it on

^^ yes, use your unity login and pw. sometimes they do maintenance work on the site and shut it down for a little, otherwise i dont know. i was able to log on earlier and get the study guide.

here is a review of part of the first short essay question from the study guide. all the info is straight from the book, so it should be right, but dont hold me to it.

Advantage of commercially available application software packages: can save time and money by using the prewritten, predesigned, pretested software programs from the package. package vendors supply much of the ongoing maintenance and support for the system, including enhancements in line w/ technical and business developments. (only use if package can fulfill most of the organization's requirements which are usually universal functions with standard processes that do not change a great deal over time)

Disadvantage: some software packages come with customization options, but the more customization you need, the more expensive it gets to implement. as newer versions of the software are released more customization may be needed. if software package is used, organization no longer has total control over system design process. software packages may cause constraints for business processes that result in a loss of flexibility, especially for organizations that have been in existence in some time and change is not as easy as a newly formed company.

Was it me or was there a disproportionate # of questions that had the answer "E) all of the above"???

^ Definitely. Nearly every question that could be "E. All of the Above", was.

I didn't have *too* much trouble w/ the A-E questions, but I found the True/False kinda tricky and not really related to what he told us to study. He would include the terminolgy in random examples (like w/ the school and bank and such) and I wasn't prepared to relate the terms w/ situations. Probably my own fault but still...

I think I did decent, not great though.
