Most convenience stores, ie Wal-Mart and Target, are getting meager numbers. I am talking < 5. Good luck in your attempted acquisitions. Even many ppl who reserved their's for month's won't get their's any time soon.

They have videos up. The music is terrible. That was the only game I'd even want out of all the launch titles and it doesn't even look remotely good enough.

i just read a review on it. it sounds great so i picked it up today at eb, multiplayer sounds great and the bots are great they say. in all those videos where the bots look stupid its cause they werent playing on hard difficulty.

PDZ is awesome. Alot of people online are saying it's better than Halo. As long as you don't jump into a game with a sorry host who made a huge map with 4 on 4 or something, it's really action packed.

Kameo is also amazing. Download the trailer off of the marketplace and you'll know what I'm talking about. By the end you'll be able to morph into 10 different forms, each with several different abilities.

^ That's awesome. And it actually seems pretty cool to me. I still love my Dreamcast about 1000 times more than I ever cared for my PS2. Some of the very best games I have EVER played have been on the Dreamcast. Hell, the only reason I still have my PS2 is for the Metal Gear and Ace Combat series games.

With that being said, good luck 360. I already like you better than the PS3, and I don't forsee that changing.

oooooh ok so the wireless controllers don't need any kind of receiver to plug into the controller ports (like XBX PS2 and GCN wireless controllers do require)?

I think they're bluetooth, but anyways, they use internal radio and not some plug in garbage. the wireless for ps3 is going to be like that too, but it'll have 7 usb ports I think. obviously those aren't all meant for controllers.

Anyways, the specs say 2.4ghz, everything calls it "patented microsoft wireless technology." so, since bluetooth and wifi are open standards... that means it's something else. anyways it probably is closer to wifi than bluetooth, since the battery life is, according to reviews I've seen, pretty low.

ive probably played like 20 hours, only charged once. btw, use the rechargeable battery pack, better length of time for use then using AA batteries.

HOLY SHIT. games look amazing in HD. i finally hooked up my xbox to the tv i bought this weekend last night. perfect dark is so amazing, seriously, im not overhyping this at all. theres a big difference. played the jungle level, man the foliage is awesome. madden was the same way, it was way crisper and better. ahhh technology.

I played madden yesterday...not as good as I had hoped. The graphics are amazing, but it seemed really clunky, and like the response time wasnt very good. I enjoyed the physics of the game, but it reminded me too much of NFL 2K1 on dreamcast...which was graphically superior to its peers, but just had awkward control issues.

Madden - different than XB and PS2 versions...less stuff...but graphically better: 6/10
NBA 2K6 - great sports game: 9/10
Call of Duty - dope war game...multiplayer is pretty crisp too: 9/10
Tiger Woods - see Madden: 7/10
Condemned - pretty cool, on some Silent Hill meets the movie Se7en type shit: 7/10
Project Gotham - off the chain...Grand Turismo multiplied...sick graphics, smooth online play: 9/10
Perfect Dark - havent played yet
Tony Hawk - havent played yet
Quake 4 - havent played yet

also the Play and Charge kits are nice...I have one and have a few more on the way for my other controllers...they're like $20 bucks...come with a rechargable battery and a USB charger cable that plugs into the 360

also have that Media Center Extender coming so I can watch DVR'd shit from my computer on my 360's tv

If I have a capture card in my PC, you're saying that with whatever you've ordered, you can stream that back onto your TV via the 360? Does it stream hi-def caps if we have a hi-def capture card? That'd be pretty sweet if so...

^not sure about the HD part of the extender...but basically with a 360 plugged into your router and a computer plugged into your router, you can already pull any audio files off your computer and play them on your 360...the extender is supposed to increase functionality

the extender is basically a "game" disc you use in your 360 to connect to your pc but I think yuo have to be running Windows XP Media Center Edition...so if you have another OS version, I dunno if your shit outta luck or what...but a "game" disc for the 360 and a CD-ROM you install on your computer
